I PHOTOGRAPH life as I feel it, not as I see it.

‘Why’ an image should come to life is more intriguing to me than ‘How’ or ‘When’ which is why it is difficult for me to photograph anything in passing. The time spent with my subjects is very special; that intimacy ultimately reveals the essential role they will play in the work.

The quieter, more reflective aspects of making images appeal to me; it is a richer, more rewarding experience, beyond mere documentation.
